Mainly because they're lunatics. They wear tinfoil hats and sit in their parents' basement thinking up weird conspiracy theories. They think stuff up and then claim it's a fact.































This one has the most to do with their rabid, mouth-foaming hatred of President Bush.

I think some people actually find it more comforting to believe that Bush and his "evil" government did it, than that there are many crazed people out there with the desire and means to kill many of us at once.































If it was Bush, all we need is a new election and everything will go back to normal.































If it's terrorists, it means there's a long, destructive conflict coming that we have to fight.































It's denial. that's my theory.
